Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Dismaland

Had a brilliant day in Dismaland at Weston-super-Mare yesterday. The queue to get in, even with timed tickets, took an hour it was so busy. I can't really describe it except to say it was a mixture of subversion, misery and political grandstanding, all being played out in a playground of destruction and amazingly grungy and fun exhibits and rides. The staff were the most unhelpful and morose bunch you'll ever come across. They never cracked a smile once. You had to be there. Smile

Afterwards we went for some fab fish and chips and a walk along the beach. It was something so completely different and we loved it.

The "helpers" really were this grumpy. Grin

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
