Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Don't Do This

When I got my Panny G5 the kit lens was quite stiff around mid-zoom. I tried a bit of grease, zooming in and out quickly lots of times and generally trying to use it. In desperation I even put an emery board to the barrel, the result of which is shown below. It's still a good lens but I don't use it any more anyway as I've got better lenses for the camera. I don't suppose it's worth a fig on ebay now as even the 10-a-penny perfect ones are cheap as chips. Sad So don't do it. You know it makes sense!

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
