Festival 2017

Took a few shots at the Festival of Remembrance last night but the light was very low and it wasn't really appropriate to keep snapping away. Anyway, I got one shot of the drums of the Welsh Guards, the centrepiece of the remembrance, and a shot of the hubbub in the arena when the service was over.

It was so interesting to see all the forces going through their paces, but what you don't see on TV is that after they've done their bit, instead of marching off in order, there's a bit of a scrum of the exits. And after the show is over, all sorts gather in the arena for photos and meet-and-greets. Just a couple of shots for the record.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
