I saw your comment on my first irises pic and misread is as "wooden pigeon" (which was puzzling). but I had to laugh because the chap next door gets fed up with me feeding the birds and every year he hangs an actual wooden pigeon from the large tree in the hope it'll scare the birds off. Of course it doesn't, but it is funny. I even saw a bird land on it once. Grin I think it's supposed to be a sparrowhawk!

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
