Framed Hare

Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Framed Hare

A while ago in AP they had an article about photographer Peter Denness and featured an image he'd captured of a European hare. I fell in love with it and sent off for a proper print via RedBubble, which arrived a few weeks ago. I thought the picture called for a statement frame, the hare being so regal and mysterious, so I chose a completely over-the-top gold one. I got the picture back yesterday and absolutely love it.

My pic of the pic and frame is a bit wonky as I just balanced it on the back of the sofa as everywhere else is really dark at the moment, but it gives you an idea. My walls are getting rather busy these days. Smile

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
