I'm a bit sad today because I was worried about little Frostie. He's been visiting our house for a month or so and was very, very thin and bony, and always seemed to sleep in my neighbour's shed so we didn't know if he had a home or not. Anyway, he got a nasty scratch on his ear so I took him to the vet to get him scanned in the hope we could keep him and look after him.
Unfortunately, he's chipped, and the owners are actually clients at the same vet that I use. So now poor Frostie is in custody at the vet's and the owners have been called to ask them to collect him, or not. So I really miss him today - he's such a sweet cat. I hope, if the neighbours take him back, they look after him properly. If they don't want him then he's mine, but they keep animals at the vet's for two weeks or until someone claims them, before releasing them. One way or another, I hope this has a happy ending.
