Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

What a lovely day it was yesterday. We went to Heybridge Basin, an outlet to the sea near Maldon, Essex. It's lovely to walk along the shoreline and there was lots going on. Lots of little yachts and craft out on the calm sea and we stopped for lemon meringue pie with ice cream at the tea shop - it was too early for the pub. Here's just a pic of the rigging from a couple of the barges that were moored past the lock on the canal. I tried out the polariser on the G5 for the first time and it worked well, although the sun was so bright and I had sunglasses on so I couldn't see a thing I was doing. Luckily when I downloaded the pics onto the computer the images were all OK - exposure-wise anyway. Smile

Off out to see the Viking exhibition at the British Museum soon, then we'll be setting up the new telescope that the OH has bought me for my birthday. How lovely. SmileSmileSmile

Moriyama

A brilliant new exhibition on at The Photographers' Gallery in London. Daido Moriyama - the whole of the building given over to this remakable photographer. I went today, opening day, and it was very popular, but not crowded by any means. So man...

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
