Due to the totally rubbish building skills of our local woodpigeon couple, they didn't manage to build a nest in the laburnum tree this year. Mum was getting broody so we took it upon ourselves to make them a desres. They moved in immediately. Unfortunately the local cat can easily get up this tree so we had to wrap thick black plastic sheets around the tree to put him off. Hopefully it'll work.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
