Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

After taking the OH to the docs I decided to go up to Covent Garden as they have an antiques (junk) market there on a Monday. I didn't go looking for one of these items especially, but have been keeping my eye out for one for years. They're very hard to come by but today I was lucky. No, not the gramophone which I've had for a while, but the metal record rack! Amazing. And it even had orange feet. So now all I have to do is sort out some discs to go in it. Smile

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

My husband has several 100's of records, both singles and LP's! I've been trying to get him to sell them for years.................we no longer have a record player!!!

Same here. They take up so much room and they're so heavy but my husband will never, ever give them up. I gave away a lot of my old records to a charity shop a while ago, just keeping those that I actually liked or those that brought back good memories, but I'm not one for listening to lots of music. I just like the retro system rather than MP3s and CDs which are rather impersonal, and the old items go with the look of the room so they're decoration as well as functional. Smile
