Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Lumix 30mm Macro

A lovely little lens which I've enjoyed using for various subjects. Apart from insects and flowers, it gives a nice perspective on other things, such as this collection of drills. I can see me using this quite a lot. Works best on Manual for very close ups, but AF quick and accurate for general shots. Very pleased.

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

I only noticed you had this lens a couple of days ago. A hidden gem. Smile

It's certainly a lovely little lens and agree that manual is probably best for very close up shots. I do find it tends to focus behind a bit when using AF sometimes but for shots like my wasp I opted for initial AF and then moving the camera a teeny bit back to get it right Smile

My favourite lens on the old 4/2 Olympus 500 was the 35mm f3.5 macro; it just seemed to have so many uses.
