Margate - on the beach

Well Monday seemed to be a good day for a trip to the seaside so I went to Margate. I'd heard about the lovely new art centre and the quirky old town with its lovely little shops so I was really looking forward to it. All I can say is, I went, and now I'm home. Here are some beach shots, and probably more delights over the next few days.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
