Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

New Shoes and Lighting

28 Jun 2014 7:08PM   Views : 344 Unique : 278

Had an interesting day today at BBC TV Centre in London where we went for a tour. Took loads of pics, mostly of lighting because that's what my OH does for living and he wanted some pics for an article he's writing, but I took the opportunity to snap my new shoes which looked rather nice in the colours on the floor. Smile I used my new Pan 20mm 1.7 lens for the first time to try it out and, well, it's just fab, I love it. The image below is just about as shot, no noise reduction, levels or anything.

Unfortunately I missed gay pride, which is always fun, but in a way that was a blessing too as we were inside all day as the heavens opened and soaked everyone. There's always next year.

Pooped now, so hubby's gone out to get fish and chips and I'm going to have a lovely drop of red wine.

Here's me shoes. Smile

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
