Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated.
I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".
Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.
The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.
Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
grand idea, but the usual result - sadly - is a bin totally overflowing, and it seems (with local authority spending cutbacks..) they dont get emptied...also we still see lots of doggy poo bags somehow magically hanging from tree/ bush branches around here..!

Our local park is very well kept with lots of bins in it. However, some dog walkers are very good at bagging up poo, but seem unable to spot any of the numerous poo bins dotted around. I suppose verges and trees are more convenient but you do wonder, if they're responsible enough to bag up poo, what's so difficult about carrying it around for a few minutes till they find a bin. Really annoys me.
