Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Sit Comfortably

This lad obviously wanted to look a bit cool so he was leaning right over, nearly touching my knees. The girls either side were sitting in a more normal upright position. Not the best of pics due to the closeness, darkess and movement of the train, but I couldn't resist. There's another shot in my p/f in b/w.

We'd been to see the film Mr.Turner. It's the most marvellous film and I urge any of you that like Turner to go. Everything about it is brilliant, but especially Timothy Spall. The only thing that didn't quite ring true was that the streets all looked so clean. Now in the days of horse-drawn carriages I would expect a bit of poo and straw, let alone any other rubbish that people would throw around. But just some carefully-placed piles of manure were in evidence. Never mind, I'll forgive that.

Been very quiet lately. Weather's been awful and I haven't been out much but I feel as if I need a change of direction but not quite sure which way to go. Right now I want to go and make a cup of tea, so TTFN.

Moriyama

A brilliant new exhibition on at The Photographers' Gallery in London. Daido Moriyama - the whole of the building given over to this remakable photographer. I went today, opening day, and it was very popular, but not crowded by any means. So man...

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
