Well, the gang of boys who were renting next door have now moved out, along with their 4 cars that were kept in the back garden, and their rubbish which they kept in the horrible white plastic garage the owner threw up. No more lorries/cars/noise, but neither is anything left of our elderly neighbour's beautiful garden which she lovingly tended all her life before she died. This is all that's left of a well-kept lawn, lovely shrubs and trees. We're fed up with looking at it. The new owners have now got planning permission for a 6 metre extension which is going to look oh so attractive. Sad

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
