Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

The quiet day

Absolutely dull and wet this morning and got woken early by mum ringing with a problem with her water bill. It involved bailiffs but thankfully the OH was at home today and did a great job of dealing with it all. Smile

After a month of cajoling and pushing and shoving, Gracie finally used the cat flap to come into the house. Very pleased this milestone has been reached. For all we know she's never used one before. it did take a rather large bowl of food to tempt her through though, so back on the diet tomorrow.

The toilet seems to be working better now, so fingers crossed.

The OH made soup from leftover salad and stuff and it was lovely. Pity the first batch he made ended up on the kitchen floor when the blender came apart though. Mustn't laugh. Grin

A good day. So far.

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
