Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

The Wrong Place

Thanks to the Met I completely missed the Royals coming out of St Paul's at today's service to commemorate Waterloo. I asked a friendly-looking policeman which way the cars would be going but he said he couldn't tell me because of the something-or-other Act. A complete fabrication, but what can you do? Anyway, I got an unsatisfactory long shot, but that was it. And the back of an old soldier's head.

At least I had a very nice box of fish and chips from the place over the road so I sat outside eating that, people watching.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

Art is Fun

Had a brill day at the Royal Academy yesterday. It's a good year with lots of very good artwork, and some rather dodgy stuff too but that's what makes it so much fun and interesting. Joe Lycett was wandering around talking to people - he's such a nic...
