Top of St Paul's

Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Had a good tryout of the new compact camera today, the Lumix TZ100. Very impressed. This shot was taken at full zoom of the very top gallery of St Paul's, then cropped heavily to show the people. It's not perfect, but pretty good. And it's the jpeg. For a handbag camera I'm well pleased with it.

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

Yes, I'm very pleased with it. Now, I wonder how much I'll use the other six (various sizes) I really must stop now. Sad Smile
