Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated. Smile

I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".

Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.

Cheeky black cat from down the road settling down in my bay tree pot. Mind you, I think the bay tree's had it so he's welcome. He was very comfy. Smile

Frankie got his results today and although it's quite serious, it's not lymphoma, and the situation can be managed with drugs. So it's just a matter of waiting and seeing. We're pleased it's not as bad as we thought.

A Lovely Day in the Park

The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.

Messing with the Mirror

Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....

Fox

Just a record shot of one of my garden foxes showing its teeth. Didn't realise they were so big.

Wildlife in the Park

It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...

Thank you both. He's quite perky today so I hope the new drugs are kicking in. Early days though, but he's worth it. Smile
My neighbour bought me that bay tree years ago in return for doing her a favour. She doesn't know I'm no good with plants. Grin

Good to hear - let's hope he continues to be perky and gets more so Smile

As for trees in pots - always a bit hit and miss. I had a mahonia in a plastic pot for several years and then I finally decided to plant it in the ground - where it promptly snuffed it Smile

Good news for the boy, but hope they’re not hoovering out your purse too much...we had a stray adopt us years ago, cracking character - absolute nutter, and very affectionate..I guess we’d have done anything for her...and up til then we were dedicated “dog-people”...Smile

We've never had insurance. his treatment so far has not exceeded what we would have paid for insurance anyway. And half the time insurance doesn't cover what you need. Luckily for us and him we can afford to pay, but we're not silly about it.
