Thanks for dropping by. All clicks and comments very much appreciated.
I like documentary and street photography, but a bit of anything else on the side. I tend not to use Photoshop too much, just sticking to the basic adjustments, but sometimes break free to try something "arty".
Thank you for visiting. I love seeing all your photos and hope you like mine.
The day was lovely and fresh after the storms of the past week, and the air was clean and bright. Lots of families out in the park enjoying the cooler weather.
Thought I'd use my little Lumix 20mm lens for a bit, so just went around the house and garden snapping stuff. I did a selfie in my 3-way mirror so it's here, just for the record. Will try it on some street stuff soon - I'd forgotten how nice it is....
It was all happening in the park. The warm weather brought out a load of wildlife, most of which was moving too fast to snap, but I got a couple. The only slow things were some rather large terrapins who were parked on an unused coot's nest, sunbath...
My Dad always grew red and Yellow wallflowers, Blood Red and Cloth of Gold. I remember asking my mum to knit me a jumper in those colours but she never did. lol.

I have tried photographing bees and have two uploads in my portfolio. They can be quite quick and I was hand holding the camera with my flashgun on the hot shoe. I was also switching between using auto focus and moving the. Camera back and forth in manual. Focus.
I noted today in our garden a couple of bees so I will likely have another go soon, this time with the flashgun on a tripod.
One also dive bombed me twice, just flying really close to me and then back to the flower, probably as a warning. :)
