Could be more dramatic if the light and reflection on the left, over the stairs, and the reflection on the far right corner were eliminated? Then the focus would be on the people? Your photo. My opinion.

The sign of a good photographer. Find a promising situation, wait until somebody comes into view, Hey! Presto! a good photograph. I would agree I would remove the lights on the left and make it all black this would tighten the photograph up a lot.

A very well framed capture, Chris. I do agree about the light on the left, and though maybe not eliminating it altogether, would have toned down the brightness. But for the people, it would be like one of those optical tricks - are we looking up or down? 😀👍
