Irises in the Park

By SlowSong
One of the lakes in the park is surrounded by clumps of beautiful yellow irises. This flower looked pretty in the shade against the dark leaves.

The version is to commemorate the re-opening of the Tea Hut. It's the focal point of the park and is usually very busy but has been shut for a month. It was so lovely to see it open again, and we each had an ice cream with a flake in it. Smile

Huge thanks to Bert, Ian M., Lilian, Peter, Ian G., Bob, Trev and Jukka for their UAs on my swan pic of yesterday. All totally unexpected. Much appreciated folks. Smile

Good lead image and good to see some assembly of normality in the version. Good set!

Oooh, Chris, I could murder for an ice cream with a flake! 😋😋 A lovely capture of the Irises, and good to see people queuing sensibly for their ice creams 👍
