V1 - This lady was just standing there staring into space for ages. Something was going on behind her but I can't blame her for not wanting to see some chap balancing footballs on his fingers. The blank pedestal was waiting for an out-of-work actor.

V2 - The man dressed as a bottle in the background was interested in the chap balancing footballs on his fingers, but when it was his time to do his bit, no-one was interested.

Such is life.

Not interested, and alone. Sad images really. London is a very big place to be alone in.

I have seen this dis-interest a few times with the performers at the Fringe Chris.
What I like about the performers that a large audience do attract,
is when it is over and the hat gets passed around for a little ''donation'',
the crowd disappear like they have been given that two minute warning for the nuclear bomb to be dropped !!

'Pissed off' I think is the ideal description for the lady in V.1, Chris Wink Carol

Thank you. I thought the lady looked rather sad.
London is a lonely place at times.

isn't that always the way... we may produce some great work of art, and nobody views it... indeed such is life

How very true, and this can be said of many large cities throughout the world.

Like the way V1 is captured on her own
and really looking in her own world.

How very strange. The first thought which entered my head was how this looks like a scene from a zombie movie!

I don't feel sad for the lady 'cos I don't think she's alone. My interpretation of the scene is that she's waiting for her husband to finish doing something (topping up a parking meter?) and he's taking a veeery long time.

I like that shot of the Blue Plastic Knight in V2 Grin
