Olympic at Trafalgar

By SlowSong
Taken earlier this week in Trafalgar Square when the swimming was being relayed via live satellite to giant screens. I liked the way the statue seems to be taking an interest. Pity I didn't move to the right a bit, but it was very dull light and very windy, so this is a grab shot really.

What a cracking shot, like the way you have composed this and so very british and topical being taken in the heart of our great city during our best ever games.

Thanks John and Ron. I might go back and grab a few more seeing as it's a moment in history, and the opportunity may not arise again.

Great fun, excellent POV although as you say moving slightly would have improved things. Shows you have a real eye for an interesting image.
