Not the easiest of subjects on a bright day and capture detail in the plumage! 😟 A lovely shot here though, Chris, nicely framed by the reeds 😃👍

Very nice, Chris. I live close to an area where there's and artificial lake in the shape of a Welsh harp and returned from walking around it about half an hour ago.
There's a lot of swans basking in the current sunshine. It's fairly quiet for most of the year and today I encountered just a few people at a distance of course.

I try a bit of spot metering in situations like this and even then it's not easy to get the exposure correct.
