I have some of these in my garden, Chris, and was surprised to see you call it Shamrock, so did some googling and came up with West Indian Sorrel/Oxalis violacea, or Violet Wood-sorrel. Strangely enough, I've never been curious about it's name, but should have recognised its resemblance to wild wood sorrel.

Hi Pamela. I put a picture of this flower up a while ago somewhere and called it clover but someone on here corrected me there and said it was shamrock. I looked it up and it looked the same plant as I saw on the internet so I just went with it. (I know nothing at all about plants so I believe anyone Grin). So the jury's out on this one.

Thanks for the info. I'll do another check later.
