Suds and Crocks

By SlowSong
This is such a cop-out pic today as I haven't been out snapping for weeks now. Just a bit of washing up given a yukky split tone.

Hello SlowSong...it's good to get ideas from everyday places and subjects. I see it as black and white but it may well be a colour picture of black and white subjects. I am fond of the blend of bubbles and stripes. The cup and the plate have got a chunky reflection each, probably from the kitchen light. I think the image can tell exactly the same story of bubbles and stripes if the top half (which contains the most apparent reflections) is cropped out. Some of the bubbles, mostly on the middle bottom - if blown up in proportion, on their own too - look like faces.
Fabulous! love all those little triangles

If you could disguise the stripey cup a bit, you could give this a Nature tag and call it frogs spawn.Grin

well this is a subject I never thought of, I just do it in auto pilot mode in the morning or while cooking (if Chris hasn't done it yet.)
and you found some true poetry in it !!
