The Collection

By SlowSong
My dad was a keen stamp collector and had some beautiful sets from all over the world, some very old. I was going through them on the weekend and this little collection of items was kept in a small see-through envelope, apart from the rest. They must have meant something special to him, but now I'll never know. Here for posterity though.

Intriguing. I have found details of two rebellions in Epirus against the Albanian government, the first in 1854. Looking at the W Australian stamp perhaps two centenaries were marked and your father collected both in the same year?

Often you never know what to ask though, until it's too late.

You can send them off for valuation... can't recall who we used, but nice to know if you have a fortune in your hands 😁
