The Donation

Taken through double plastic, very smeary and dirty, but I liked the effect of softening the little girl and her mother. They were putting coins into the collection box at Tate Modern.

I must very much thank Bill and Malc for their UAs on yesterday's image. I'm just getting back into the swing of things again so the encouragement is very welcome. Smile

A well observed candid with a difference.

A lovely image, however I do feel that a tighter crop "possibly square" may be in order...

What a wonderful candid capture, Chris Smile That collection box looks a work of art in itself! Wink

Very well seen, Chris, the image carefully framed so that the various coloured plastic blobs miss the faces. Spot-on comment about the softening, which gives a slightly old-fashioned look that contrasts with the harsh tones of the 20 note.

That's a very unusual collection box, but one should expect nothing less from the Tate Mod.

Great idea.. Nicely executed..

I see what you mean. It acts as a really good 'natural' soft filter Smile

Good eyes, Chris Wink
