Vauxhall Bridge

By SlowSong
This is a real shot. Those flats are really there, south of the Thames by Vauxhall Bridge.
I think they look amazing and rather surreal.

(St George's Wharf - thanks for the info Dave. Smile)

Does look rather surreal - and looks like they're all piled on top of the bridge! Wink

The flats do have a surrealistic or maybe a comic book look. Withe the lovely sunlight giving colour to the foreground it makes a super image.

Being a villager with wide open countryside as soon as I step out the door more or less, I just can't understand why anyone would wish to live here, let alone pay the exorbitant prices to do it!!.....Good image all the same, it remind's of just how lucky I am I guess.

They were front circle seats for the Diamond Jubilee regatta Chris. To the left of them is the M16 headquarters.
They always look slightly oriental to me and I never fail to give them a glance when I'm on my way to the Tate.

Surreal is the word. The architect certainly liked blue! Lovely compo.
