Olympics in Trafalgar

By SlowSong
Taken when the Olympics were on. Big screens around Trafalgar Square were transmitting feeds from China and I liked the way this statue seemed to be watching the young Chinese girl.

An odd moment of communication through time, distance and media. This works brilliantly well and seems to be an area of photography that you are making very much your own.

another interpretation, looks to me as if the young chinese girl is saying "grab hold of me,i want to be where you are"
which ever well done.

Well made image. It should have more votes. All your images are great, they have a quirky feel and this seems to be your style.
Well done.
