Lydia, Lucie, PK: thanks for all your comments and support. As mentioned I quite like this and, because I have a bit of a need to "belong" at present, I'm a little disallussioned at the lack of any sort of comment on my photos. (I'm not even after praise, just any constructive comment would be nice!). I just don't feel I get anything positive from EPZ any longer and need to have a bit of a break I think.

Thanks as always Lydia, will drop you a line later...

For the sake of completeness here is the inscription in full (I think!):

"Abair ach beagan is abair gu math e." which means ..."Say but little and say it well" which is fair enough I suppose.

Thanks for the comment Phoebe, once again I appreciate that these are not to everyones taste but it's nice if someone gets them!

For the sake of completeness here is the inscription in full (by Rabbie Burns):

Then let us pray that come it may
(As come it will for a' that)
That Sense and Worth, o'er a' the earth,
Shall bear the gree, an' a' that.
For a' that, an' a' that,
It's coming yet for a' that,
That Man to Man the world o'er,
Shall brithers be for a' that.

  • Teresa, love your portfolio, you've got a great touch with these landscapes! I'm particularly envious of you living in the Lake District: the best I can manage is Richmond Hill in West LondonSmile
