Thanks for the kind comments all. When I came back to the photo gallery I realised that I uploaded the wrong image! For a minute I thought this pic was from another photographer! Good thing I looked properly otherwise I would have been giving myself some helpfull criticism.

Nice image just a pity that the boat is hidden behind the bush on the right. You have made the best of the situation.

I made a bad mistake with the 10-22mm lens!!! It is an EF-S lens which cost me around 10K. Now when I want to upgrade to a 5D I have to get a new lens as well, as it does not work on a full frame sensor!!!! Sucks!! So if I were you I wouldn't get it and spend the extra money on a 5D And get a wide angle lens when I can afford it. Also picture libraries are wanting bigger images so they are already expecting 10megapixel sizes....

Also if you are using the cokin system like I am you will only get images of 14mm or even 15mm instead of 10, because of the intrusion of the filter system. Just a consideration for you!

By the way the image sucks Wink

your blurb was quite funny. I get that all the time. I am always amazed when people see me setting up and shooting, swapping filters etc and still feel that I have enough time to stop and have a chat about some rubbish camera their grandfather left them....... or perhaps there were a whole lot of EPZers and they KNEW that you had absolutely no idea about what was going on with photography!!! :0
