Balcladich Bay

By Snapper
Balcladich is a small crofting township on the coast of Assynt in NW Scotland. Gone are the days when the sea here might have been netted for salmon, but it is still interesting to see how close they would build to the water and the fact that the gable faced the sea and had only one small window so as not to be smashed by the gales or the waves.

Nice landscape shot, good composition and detail, the colours are superb. Tracey
