Derwent Gold

By sneazy
Taken on my last trip to the Lake District. I had planned to take images around the boat moorings at Keswick and I captured some images I was happy with. On my way back to the B&B for some well earned breakfast I took a look back at the Lake (as I always do) and I spotted the lighting on the far side lighting up the wonderful autumnal colours. I raced to get to the shore and set up. I managed to get this image with some foreground interest and then it was gone. My second image was a much more considered composition and I did prefer it but by then the light had gone.
