Spring in Glencoe

Taken last year at the end of March.

Found this today and thought I would put it up for comment. My first trip to Glencoe and the scale of everthing was fantastic. I have been through the Alps but the Scottish Highlands still takes some beating.

Hopefully if compression has not totally rumbled this, 60% Sad , then you get an idea of scale by looking at the fantastically sited cottage in the right middle of the image.

Weather was typically Scottish cold and wet!

1/5th second exposure @ f22. Lee Hard ND Grad.

What an awesome photo. I love the way your eye concentrates on the front of the image and leads you through the mountains up towards the clouds. Contrast, composition, clarity and colours are just beautifully executed. Well done.

Lovely colour, the cottage gives the sense of scale.
Beautiful view. Well've certainly made the feeling of cold and wet come through!
