So, you've been having fabulous skies down there as well I see. I really like this - works very well.

Lovely artistic image - very nice indeed.

  • Cromer Pier

I love the stones in these images. You had one where the shingle is more prominent, with I think a small rivulet running across towards the pier? Can't remember exactly but would like to see it again if poss.

It certainly works, largely for the reasons you stated. This image also jumped off the thumbnail. I'd actually scanned the page and hit the button for the next page so had to go back one to open this. If you can stop someone in their tracks and make them reverse to look again you've succeeded. That's what advertisers look for - arresting images.

The water on this surface also makes it look like polished granite, like you are standing on a very expensive worktop. Good work.

  • Whitsand Bay

Excellent images. For me #1. There is more movement and with #2 there is almost too much going on - the sand is 'busy'. The foreground is strong which, as Joe Cornish says, is what makes the image so often. Even without the sky the foreground would carry it.

    Good stuff. Well done.

  • Misty...

Your usual excellence. The format and composition are superb. Almost a visual echo but with a twist. Stunning as ever.

  • Icelandic Nights...

Wow - stunning. Lucky you. The Land of Fire & Ice....and Magnetic Storms. Wink

    Looking forward to the others.

  • Strong, diverse, talented - the first three words that spring to mind. There's something for everyone here. Really excellent.

I've bookmarked your collection for my own future inspiration. Smile

  • This is a really strong collection and proof that you already have a fresh and creative eye. Looking forward to seeing what you do in 2010!
  • Your work is all outstanding. You are setting the standard.

  • Quote:I hope you enjoy my pictures, I know they are not good, but I hope with your help I can improve

Sorry to contradict, but I disagree with you; your images are good. I'm no expert myself but it is quite clear to me that you have a relationship with the camera - you understand it. Your title image ("Paola") looks like a 1960's movie still or promo shot. "Ray of Light" and "Stairs" are give-aways as well to my eyes, evidence that you have much talent yet to show.

Keep it coming. When you're famous the rest of us want to be able to say "Aw, we knew her work from when she started out.." Wink
  • Your work is outstanding Magdalena - so original and creative. It's more than just that though; it has depths and layers to it, something very elusive to most of us.

I've bookmarked your gallery so I can revisit many times. Smile

  • I don't know what to say; your images are just jaw-dropping. Have bookmarked your collection so I can check back regularly for inspiration....and a standard to aim for!

Outstanding work - thank you so much for sharing them.
  • These are not run-of-the-mill wildlife shots; the birds are full of character and expression. You've succeeded in freezing them 'at work' so to speak, which isn't easy. Excellent stuff.
