Avro Lancaster - Heavy Bomber (Flying)

By SocksAndStuff
This flew over my garden on its return flight from the Cosford Air Show on Sunday. With the lens I had on I couldn't fit it all into the shot!

Also caught a shot of a Spitfire on my other camera set-up, added as a Version.

Well bagged! We didn't get to Cosford this year (hot salt tears streaming down face Sad) but, like you, we saw it going out and coming back but I didn't have my camera to hand. For me that big lens paid off!

Two excellent captures Helen - and you didn't have to get entangled in all the traffic. We were out on Sunday going the other way and the queue of traffic for Cosford was horrendous.

Well done Helen for being prepared with your cameras.
We had the red arrows fly over our house on sunday and I didn't even have time to shout the wife, not that she couldn't hear them!
I might be prepared one daySad
