Chuffin' Rain!

By sooty 36
Sunday was all planned for the other half to go dancing for four hours and for me to spend some time checking out a nature reserve just outside Northampton. Talk about "washout"
Because of the constant rain, my nature walk was a no no. Just 15 minutes away however, was the Pitsford and Brampton Railway. Very small with rail journeys only running a mile or two up the line, either side of the station. But on a nice day, it's well worth the 4 odd.
It was very difficult to try and get some decent shots, trying to hold a brolly and constantly wiping the lens and bad light etc. But i did manage to get some quite pleasing shots. Although this shot isn't quite as sharp as it could be, I like the overall look though, with the rain showing etc. All comments and critique welcome.
Thank you for looking.

A wooden bridge and a steam train in the rain in black and white - heaven lol. Seriously though, this has a lovely feel to it, wonderful capture and although sharp detailed photo's have their place so does the softer look.
