Falls of Dochart

By sooty 36
This is a re-post from yesterday as i somehow put it in the "adult content" section lol

One from the archives. Taken in 2006 while holidaying in Scotland in October. We were lucky with the weather and managed to see some beautiful sites. This pic was taken on the 2nd day of our 5 day visit.
Situated near village of Killin, at the west end of Loch Tay. This is one of the most photographed and painted places in Scottish Highlands. A bridge crosses over the river just as you enter Killin giving a fabulous view of the falls as they cascade down over the rocks and around the island of Inchbuie
Oh such memories of a wonderful time we had.
Hope you enjoy the pic Smile

Excellent choice of scene for a shot, so many small cascades, well captured.

I've been to this spot, many years ago, and I know it's an impressive scene. Well captured here!
