Very well captured.

The transition between oceans is an strong visual. And, the information of the plaque contains, by implication, some interesting South African history. I prefer the big picture of V1.

The Cape of Needles named by my Portuguese ancesters... Fabulous shot with the most interest because I didn't know that that's where you may see the two oceans divide/or meet... How interesting!
Nice green plaque as well! Have a good day Herman.

A fascinating photo from the very southernmost tip of the continent, Herman.
Glad they put in the English version although I think I'd have been able to hazard a guess from the Africaans.

The copper plate is turning that glorious green as it does, the stone textures and tones with the glimpse of the sea is excellent Herman.

An impressive location-- There is a spot in Rhode Island where my children live-- the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets Long Island Sound and the Narragansett Bay-- lots of turbulence there!

V1 for me, I like the composition.
Pieter de Botha, that was definitely another era, now he seems long forgotten.
Is Afrikaans still widely spoken?
