He's a tad over-exposed on the tail, due to the harsh sunlight (wot's that, I hear you sayWink), but two good captures, Steve. Carol

Love the squirrel and version 2 for me. I have been wishing there were some around here and low and behold a tree rat passed by our door today!!

Like the angle in V1 Steve as different
but V2 wins as much sharper image
you really did well, and natural light is the best

Fine shots Steve but V2 for me. I love the marvellous light in his eye and the way his tail curls round exactly matching his body.

The wrong colour of squirrel for me, I'm afraid! V2 seems in sharper focus.
