More pictures from the Tank Engine Weekend on the Great Central Railway at Loughborough. This sequence of pictures show the Ivatt Micky Mouse 2-6-2 tank No. 41241 from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway hauling the dining car train.
V1
Awaiting departure for Leicester North. I particularly like the way the camera has caught the driver looking through the rear window of the cab.
V2, V3, V4 & V5
The Mickey Mouse is in the distance on the return down working of the dining car train. She is is held at the signal protecting the crossovers at the entrance to Loughborough Station. The up train is being hauled by the N7. As soon as this train has cleared the section, the dining car train will be signalled to crossover onto the up main and enter platform one.
Spike.
