Super colour... what a car. ( Doesn't look like it will quite fit in the garage). Smile

Hi SRC
I've just been checking out your gallery, you've got some fantastic shots, I especially like your sunsets and you've got some really good bird shots too, which I'm absolutely rubbish at taking.
Regarding this image, I love the colours, you've captured the red quite well which is sometimes difficult to achieve. However, if this were to go on my wall, I think I'd prefer a tighter crop so that the eye wasn't drawn so much to the garage and would be more focused on the car. Hope you don't mind the feedback. Don't want to burst your bubble but this is such a beautiful piece of machinery which is spoilt by the garages in the background. If this was mine (I wish) I would take a shot of this in open countryside and a lower angle from the front of the car getting in as much as possible.
Not the comment you wanted to read but I feel you could make more of this fantastic car (could be envy too .....lol).

Excellent car i agree with Karrol. Open country side or inside a big warehouse get low so that the badge is prominant but so you get the rest of the car going is leading you to the back of the car. If this makes any sense Wink low and wide angle

Stuart, I see this lovely car in red against a green background, perhaps a country lane in woods, where this car is being driven to the Manor House. My imagination.........
I like your PF.

Great shot of the car and garage,,think its been mentioned that the car should stand alone, especially one like this.
Someone mentioned a country lane !!
I did one in a car park not thinking to much about the subject at all.
A little bit of thought and we went for a spin,,coastel harbour for background and a lower angle.
This car is well worth the effort.
Nice one mate.

you did the right thing taking a 3/4 view from the front, its the classic angle, if you want to make it look more exciting, wait for a bright blue sky without clouds, pull it further down the drive in front of that fence/hedge and lay or crouch down to get a more dynamic viewpoint and the sky as a backdrop, use a slightly wider angle and get in a bit closer,

the same goes for most subjects, avoid the standard eye height view, climb up a wall and look down or lay on the floor and look up, it makes things that bit diferent.

hope that helps,
Phil

I've got a car just like this! Well, it's red and it has wheels. There the similarity ends... Smile I agree with Karrol - would be better with trees behind it.
