Some nice detail in what looks like harsh light.Could do with a little more space around the bird I think, especially for him to look into.
Nice catchlight in his beady little eye.

Hi Stuart, as Janet says zoom back a bit a let us see a bit more of the birds surrounding, you don't have to fill the frame with the subject,
You have the detail and colours.
Number 4 is my fav.

its very tightly cropped and a bit of space to breath is nice, but the main subject is beautifully exposed and has the obligatory catchlight in the eye, its nicely positioned and very sharp.
whats this about a new camera then?

I think they're superb, I think the tight cropping helps make them stand out from the Robin crowd and I really like the light in v5

Wonderful detail and focus........i sometimes get over excited with cropping, as i want to get more of the subject in to show off the detail etc.....if this was out of the camera crop, then it is well worth the sacrifice of space around it for the fact that it is in focus and the detail is there....

As Geoff says lovely set. v4 and v5 stand out for me mainly because the robin has room to breathe within the frame.
