We visited Skógafoss on day two of our trip when the weather was, let's just say a bit grim. Although I was initially disappointed with the harsh weather at the beginning of the trip I have to say I'm quite liking the mood in this image. Had it been a sunny and cloudless day I don't think it would have had the same effect. Skógafoss is situated on the Skógá River in the south of Iceland and is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres (82 feet) and a drop of 60 m (200 ft).
