Eastern Diamondback

Another angle of the IRRATATED subject.
It shows some more details on his actual size, he was around 6' (just under 2 meters) in length and a bit bigger around than my forearm. I wish I could have been able to see and get a shot of his rattle. I was curious about how many times he had shed his skin, the number of buttons helps determine how many times the snake had shed.

Shot thru glass using ambient lighting, minor adjustments with sharpening, otherwise it's straight out the camera.

I have a pic of me somewhere holding a timber rattler that had 9 rattlers and a button. It came out from under the house and knocked him in the head. Has going eat him but a neighbor wanted him instead .loll
