Sagitarius the Teapot

By starman1
A small group got together for a star gazing session, this is the constellation Sagitarius taken Saturday evening from a local and fairly dark sky site on Pensacola Beach.

The camera was tripod mounted, set to manual and I used a 15 second exposure time. M-8 and M-20 can be just made out to the right of the teapot's spout.

Some minor adjustments to brightness and contrast and re-sizing with Microsoft Picture Manager, otherwise this is straight from the camera.

Excellent. Even more so when viewed in the larger format.
