Seascape - by moonlight!

By steevo46
I took this shot at around midnight with a half-moon shining (you can see the shadow of the moon in the foreground). My first night time seascape, I was surprised to see all the colours of the water, the underwater reef and sand.
Exposure time was 3 minutes.
I discovered that at night it is a calm, quiet and peaceful place compared to daytime. There's no crowds or tourists, no buffeting high winds, no salt spray, no sunburn, no greasy sunscreen, no sun flare or glare and also no expensive polarizing filter needed.
Next time I will go when there is a full moon and directly overhead and see how that turns out.
