Just one.... by johnnyboy114
I really like these images John, a good idea well executed
I notice above where everyone has offered their own 'slant' on this particular image so I had a bit of a play with it (version 1) myself lol...I really hope you don't mind and it would be great to show you it, see if it meets with your approval?
Great stuff though, I like them all

Just to echo what everyone else has already said...dreamy, serene and evocative with great colour and light...a fabulous top drawer shot!

Not a bird Sang by SteveMoulding
Hard to grasp at times how evil some people have actually behaved toward fellow human beings?
There are those who believe this actually never happened which has to be the single biggest reason for showing it did!
This kind of image is hopefully a constant reminder that this terrible moment in history should never be allowed to happen again, yet all around us in this strange little world, there is the constant fear that it will....and does!
Very poignant images to stir the soul!- 5 Jun 2011 9:24PM

Martina by cdavis
This is very nice, I really like the processing, the background being the perfect colour compliment to the portrait. There may be purists etc who are totally against this kinda thing, but it really does go to show there are no limits or bounds to what can be done?

I just wanted to say that this portfolio of yours is quite excellent! I believe a lot of your images are post produced with the Hi-def technique, correct ?
Having said that...it's just an observation, the work is great!

Hello,I read with interest your comments about a photograph that I offered up for critique (Canal Walk2).I do respect and accept anyones opinions as I am a relative beginner. Also I am very grateful for the time that you spent looking. However I really think you missed the point of the picture. It is dark I know, but it was meant to be, as it is a silouette of the trees and canal against the brightly lit winter sky.The purpose of the shot was to create a certain mood and/or a kind of ambience within the scene.Perhaps I failed I don't know.I would like to add though,it is totally un-manipulated as I am
I am a great believer in trying to create 'with' the camera using very little or no post production at all.- 4 Jan 2007 11:13PM
